General Information About Fatima

The Sanctuary of Fatima is one of the places of worship most relevant worldwide. It contains various basilicas and chapels dedicated to historical religious figures. The Basilica of the Holy Trinity, built in 1953, is the greatest gift in the sanctuary, which seats 9,000 people. Every month there are pilgrimages in the 12th and 13th, the best known being the 12 and 13 May and October.

General Information About Obidos

Located 80 km northwest of Lisbon, it is one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in the Iberian Peninsula. Founded by the Celts in 308 BC, Obidos was conquered by the Romans in the first century and occupied by the Moors in the eighth century, which built the wall that still completely surrounds its white houses decorated with blue or yellow stripes. The medieval town of Obidos, with its castle, churches and historical monuments, enjoys a temperate climate where the bright southern sun joins the fresh mountain air.
